Ministry of Health: the number of substandard drugs in 2014 amounted to 0.01% – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, May 4 – RIA Novosti. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 2014, tightened control quality of drugs, the number of identified substandard medicines has decreased in comparison with 2013 and totaled only 0.01%, said Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova in the “Opinion” on the channel “Russia 24″.

” We have significantly increased – by 1.6 times – the number of inspections to determine the quality of drugs, which we are in the back and in retail establishments and warehouses, and we have this year, in the fourteenth held, 16% of all series otkontrolirovali drugs, “- said Skvortsov. According to her, the Ministry of Health is also significantly improved laboratory facilities. “We have 12 high-power laboratory facilities in all federal districts, including the Crimea”, – said the minister.

“We have significantly tightened the control, but we have reduced the number of substandard drugs – their number amounted to only 0, 01% “- said Skvortsov, explaining that this figure covers including counterfeit drugs.
